Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AlphaShred websites, member hub, mobile apps, Coach Mike, Academy, community features, and related services (the “Services”). By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
AlphaShred is a membership fitness and coaching product operated by Mike Rashid King. Features may include training and nutrition guidance, Coach Mike (AI-assisted coaching), Academy courses/videos, community/network tools, and related content. Features may change over time.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter this agreement in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it updated.
3. Memberships and billing
- Web: subscriptions are sold via Stripe checkout on our sites/hub (for example monthly and yearly plans then in effect).
- iOS (when available): subscriptions may be sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple’s payment terms, cancellation flow, and refund rules apply to those purchases.
- Prices and plan names are shown at checkout. Taxes may apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- Unless a specific offer says otherwise, purchases are final for the current billing period. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current period.
To cancel a web Stripe subscription, use Account → Manage billing (or the customer portal we provide), or email info@mikerashid.com. To cancel an Apple IAP subscription, use Apple’s subscription settings.
4. Trials and promotions
If we offer a trial or promotional price (for example a discounted first period), the offer terms shown at checkout control. After the promotional period, standard plan pricing applies unless you cancel in time.
5. License and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your own fitness journey. You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, scrape, or resell AlphaShred content, workouts, Academy media, or Coach Mike outputs.
- Share your login to circumvent membership limits.
- Harass others, post illegal/abusive content, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the Services.
- Use Coach Mike or other tools for medical diagnosis, emergency advice, or anything unlawful.
AlphaShred has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. We may remove content and restrict or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Coach Mike and Academy
Coach Mike provides AI-assisted coaching and information. It can be wrong or incomplete. Academy content is educational. Neither replaces a doctor, therapist, or in-person trainer. You use coaching and training content at your own risk.
7. Health disclaimer
Physical training involves risk of injury. Consult a physician before beginning. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or other warning signs. Results vary. AlphaShred makes no guarantee of specific outcomes.
8. Account deletion
Signed-in members can delete their account via Account → Delete account (type DELETE and acknowledge permanence / separate billing), or by emailing info@mikerashid.com. Deletion ends access to the Services. Active subscriptions should be canceled separately to avoid further charges (web via Account → Manage billing / Stripe; Apple IAP via Apple’s subscription settings).
9. Intellectual property
AlphaShred name, logos, videos, programs, text, software, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted.
10. Third-party services
The Services may link to or rely on third parties (Stripe, Apple, hosting, video CDN, auth providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALPHASHRED AND MIKE RASHID KING WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AlphaShred and Mike Rashid King from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the Services. Provisions that should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence say otherwise.
